Privacy policy

In short: this site sets no cookies, uses no tracking and loads nothing from third parties. The only data collected is what's technically needed to deliver a website.

Server log files

When you open a page, the web server automatically stores technical details: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the page you came from (referrer), and your browser and operating system.

This data is needed to deliver the site and to spot errors or attacks. It isn't analysed, isn't combined with any other data and is only kept as long as needed to run the site.

Hosting

The website runs on a server from Hetzner Online GmbH in the EU. Switzerland recognises the EU as having an adequate level of data protection.

Contact by email

If you email me, I only use your details to reply to you. The messages are stored with my email provider.

Cookies and tracking

There are no cookies, no analytics tools and no ads. Fonts and images are served directly from this server.

External links

The site links to GitHub, among others. If you follow one of those links, that provider's privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time what data I hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. An email is all it takes.

If you think I'm not handling your data properly, you can complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
